Blaqk Audio es un grupo electrónico formado por los integrantes de AFI Davey Havok y Jade Puget. Según Puget el sonido del grupo «carecerá de instrumentos, todo será electrónico». El lanzamiento del disco debut se demoró constantemente, siendo la fecha inicial el año 2004, y su lanzamiento fue el 14 de agosto del 2007.

El primer single es Stiff Kittens, el cual ya esta a la venta en las tiendas iTunes. Adémas de este, los integrantes han dado a conocer otras dos canciones, Bitter For Sweet y Semiotic Love que se pueden escuchar en el myspace del dueto.

Días antes de su lanzamiento, el grupo hizo diversas presentaciones en las tiendas Hot Topic y también eventos con la radio KROQ, para dar a conocer su música.

Como lo relata Jade el 11 de junio del 2007 el álbum se llama «CexCells». También revelo lo que seria el tracklist del álbum, conformado por 12 canciones entre las que tenemos:

<3 I love listening to Blaqk Audio after not doing so for a while and then refalling in love with them again. This project seems to have had more of an effect on me than AFI.

AFI should stick to combining the pop-punk/emo/goth music genres. This is pure trash. I do appreciate that Ronan Harris of VNV Nation is friends with them, but this music is an uninspiring listen from two dudes who really are creating music like a fish out of water. They won't ever get it. They'll always be AFI.
