Acerca de este álbum
Apenas unos meses después de su debut, editan el que está considerado como su mejor disco y álbum imprescindible no sólo del heavy metal sino del rock en general. Sin tanta influencia blues como en su primer disco, aunque desde lueho sigue presente, aquí ya empiezan a desarrollar su sonido característico, con esos riffs densos, pétreos y oscuros, a la vez que magníficos a cambio del apodado «maestro del riff» Tony Iommi.
War Pigs, Fairies Wear Boots, Electric Funeral o la inmensa Iron Man son clásicos indiscutibles del heavy metal. Por otro lado está la balada psicodélica Planet Caravan y, como no, el tema-título, su canción más popular.

I finaly could buy this album @ Female metal Voice fest this weekend , after all this years it's still one of my all time favorite metal-albums. It is having three songs that got me into metal ''Paranoid'' ''Iron Man'' and ''war pigs'' but the entire album is great, after all this years it's still a metal-masterpiece.
