I didn't even know there were multiple Black Majesty's, the cheesy power metal one is awesome though. Black metal Black Majesty is just old school bm worship, he nails it though. But, nerds, the power metal band legitimately deserves top billing on this page, they're far more well known than Obscure Solo Project #9081235

Profiles of bands with the same name should be separated somehow. [2]

The power metal band is the one that I like more. I don't really care about that black metal band.. It sucks really. Heard couple of tracks and it's just..... terrible.

Reminds of the darkness of the first Satyricon mixed with total satanic evil of first wave bands.

Remind me to stay away from anything tagged as "melodic power metal." Anyways, the Norwegian black metal band just stinks of raw, unhinged evil, delicious...

Did the Norwegian Black Majesty become the top profile picture because of the Nidrosian Black Mass?

nihiobt: The problem would still remain that differentiating between similarly named artists in a user's charts would be difficult. Even if there were separate pages, how would the program determine which band the user is scrobbling? If each such artist had nation tags (ie. Black Majesty (Nor) and Black Majesty (Aus)), what if there are several bands with the same name from the same country?

I'm flooded with power metal recommendations because thinks I'm listening to the Australian band...

Lastfm should fix this as soon as possible... I know sites like metalarchives or reverbnation where bands with the same exact name have separate sites. You write the name, a list of bands appears and you choose the one you seek for. No confusion, misunderstandings or insults. In my case i am into black metal and then, norwegian artists in Mare/Black Majesty, whose music is outstanding in the genre. Meanwhile, and while the bands still "share" unnwillingly the same site, these pointless "wars" will go on and on ..Fix this please!

Maybe Stargazer sounds like their other albums but have more catchy melodies :).The australian Black Majesty kicks some serious ass! [2]

Stargazer sounds pretty much exactly the same as their other albums, but I'm not really complaining. I am, however, complaining about this retarded battling between the different Black Majesties.
