Esta banda canadiense, formada el 2004, es etiquetada como de «Brutal/Technical Death Metal» y con razon.Llevan al extremo los ya rapidisimos «tempo» del death, por el uso constante del blast beats, ademas del fugaz pedaleo en bombos en percusion( al mas puro estilo del Grindcore).En las cuerdas sorprenden los rapidisimos y afilados riffs a medio tempo, caracteristicos en este subgenero del death. Otra caracteristica que presenta la banda, son su sincronizacion y los abruptos cambios de compas( y de tempo) que se observan en sus composiciones.Todo ejecutado,y por eso merecen la etiqueta ya enunciada, tecnica y al mismo tiempo brutalmente.Espuma de la tierra fértil de Montreal, la marca BAJO LA MASACRE de brutal death metal técnico era todo, pero aseguró que nada más que la magia de estudio de la banda en 2007 y ocupado a principios de 2008 en la carretera, y la banda vuelve a probar uno no era - pregunto disparo con la distopía, la reclamación más reciente de la banda a la corona de la banda más brutal de Canadá.

BTM is 'Montreal Deathcore' (straight off their t-shirt I got at Summer Slaughter a few summers ago). The Montreal Deathcore scene is really in a league of its own with bands like Ion Dissonance, Despised Icon, (the)Plasmarifle, and these guys.

To DonniSharK: Yes, breakdowns are a part of brutal death. But there is a difference between a proper death metal breakdown and that boring as fuck open-A chugging with the crash in the background which characterizes deathcore. If their breakdowns were all more like, say, the second riff of Condemned, then many people would be much more content. Instead they insist on throwing in those bullshit open-note 'core breakdowns, which diminish the music imo. If they lost these breakdowns then yes, there would be no need for the deathcore tag.
