Hay varias bandas con el nombre de «Atrocity»:
1-Atrocity (GER): Banda alemana de Death Metal en sus comienzos, y de Industrial/Gothic Metal en la actualidad, procedente de Alemania y creada en 1985. Comenzaron llamándose «Instigators» y tocaban Grindcore. Hicieron Death Metal hasta su album «Todessehnsucht», desde el cual comenzaron a experimientar con otros estilos, colaborando con otros grupos, haciendo así albumes industriales y ahsta de música Folk, aunque donde más se mueven en la actualidad es con el Gothic Metal. La formación al completo también son los componentes del grupo de Gothic Metal «Leaves´ Eyes» junto a la esposa del cantante Alexander Krull, Liv Kristine, que es la cantante de «Leaves´ Eyes».
