Astral Projection es un grupo de música electrónica de estilo Goa trance originario de Israel. Sus miembros son Avi Nissim y Lior Perlmutter, siendo Yaniv Haviv y Guy Sabbag miembros pasados del grupo. Adicionalmente a su extensa discografía (la mayoría bajo su propio sello discográfico, Trust in Trance, que luego se fusionó con Phonokol), el grupo posee una extensa agenda internacional de presentaciones en vivo.

Lanzaron 9 álbums, siendo Ten su última obra, en el año 2004. Con su estilo innovador y los BPMs característicos del Goa, el grupo produjo grandes éxitos (especialmente en Europa e Israel) como «Kabalah», «People Can Fly», «Mahadeva» y «Dancing Galaxy».

Actualente el grupo se encuentra trabajando en el lanzamiento de su nuevo álbum, Open Society.

The different electronic musicians will just produce same thing and record it at different tempos so they can fill an album. They’ll probably reuse the same beeps and noises but change the order in which they occur in the songs again so they can produce more material to sell. What’s the point in looking up all those artist if i can judge the entire genre by listing to one song from one artist.

Start with Jan-Michele Jarre and Kraftwerk, then go through Acid trance, then Goa trance like Astral Projection, California Sunshine, then Detroit House, also Techno, Psychedelic trance like SUN Project, Uplifting trance like Cyan, Holymen, after that Ambient, Chillout, also Electro-dance like Chemical Brothers and Fatboy Slim, European trance /progressive/ like Tiesto and Paul Oakenfold and many more other substyles..then, my friend, you can tell that AP has nothing different to share with the Electronic music.
