    I would have to disagree with you guys. For me, THIS IS THE version of this song. The true and only. Never did I find the same intensity in all versions, including Sam Cooke's and especially not Otis Redding :-))

    I agree, this is an amazing song. Aretha's version of it isn't quite as good as Sam Cooke's, but it's still top notch.

    I love how Aretha interprets this song. She tells it from Cooke's point of view. Amazing but it doesn't come close to Sam Cooke. Just an amazing song!
