It reminds me of a cross between The Beatles' "In My Life" and the high points of Bon Iver's mellow folk.

"Wasted hours that you made new and turned into a life that we could live. Wishing you were anywhere but here. You watched the life you're living disappear. And now I see, we're still kids in buses longing to be free" God, these lyrics get me everytime. This song makes me feel so good inside.

I hate when people use the term "weakest" to discuss music. It's such a banal criticism. I think the terms "weak" and "strong" should never be used while discussing music unless it's referring to dynamics or any other intrinsic quality of the music.

    Agosto 2010
  • pigopigopigo

It's a sad sad song for me, but the best on the Album!

    Agosto 2010
  • svenjolly

one of the weakest?? this might be my favorite one from the album after sprawl ii! it reminds me of the songs on funeral and the gradual buildup of guitar and strings is beautiful

    Agosto 2010
  • samantha0118

this, sprawl ii, and the suburbs were my favorite / most catchy for me from the start. not quite sure why people don't get it, i'm in love!

  • lotr666

    luv zis

    Agosto 2010
  • airportlove

I definitely do not think it's one of the weakest on the album. I think it wonderfully highlights the yearning to be anywhere but "here" ... we can all relate to still being kids in the buses longing to be free ... we're Little Princes and Little Princesses in an ill-fated, ticktocking generation. such lovely, beautiful honest lyrics.
