isn't the most adventurous of guitarists in the grand scheme of
things ; he just decided a long time ago that rock gtr kinda
stopped w/. Jimmy Page, but it was a joy to see him doing what he
does so immaculately on the mainstage w/. his new band, which
included a priceless cameo from Lemmy.
seemed to be loving it - and so did the crowd. They did 5 GNR songs
and I don't reckon he ever played 'em better. Sweet.
Voodoo Machine rocked the place first thing Saturday morning! -
well worth getting up for. Check out their Gypsy Hotel club-night
which is moving to a new venue in July.
to catch Porcupine Tree for a bit of prog in the afternoon, but
couldn't work out which stage they were on and gave up.
Woke up in
time to hear Rage playing the last minute of "Killing In The Name
Of" on Saturday night after a hard night in the Party Tent on
respect to the whole Lucha Britannia crew.
