Anyone who uses the word 'sellout' in a serious context these days is lol worthy. Seriously, who cares?

They've been 100% open with why they toured with BOTDF. the average age of Industrial fans is getting higher and higher, there's not enough new blood in the scene. By touring with a band popular with younger crowds and exposing them to music like Angelspit, there will be some crossover between the fanbases. It'll expand their musical tastes to include what we already know to be a superior musical genre and give them something to grab on to like we grabbed on to KMFDM, Ministry, and even Nine Inch Nails when WE were growing up. KMFDM practically shaped my musical tastes as a kid, and I only discovered them through sheer luck.

It might have been a crap move to their rep to tour with the likes of BOTDF, but I went and supported the band anyway, tolerating the horrible audience there for BOTDF (and proceeded to leave before those 2 wankers went on stage). They probably needed the money or did it for whatever else reason like trying to get a bigger fanbase, but they're not exactly swimming in a sea of gold coins given their somewhat lack of popularity.

they're sell-outs because they introduced new people to industrial? WHAT? now that people you don't like like them you feel you can't like them? how very hipster of you. the music is the same, the band is the same, but now that they have a few new fans they're "sellouts." I don't think that word means what you think it means... [4] People cry "SELLOUT!!1!" way too easily. It has kinda lessened the impact of the word. It makes it seem like it's something lesser than what it actually is.

Selling out is proven when you have your own underwear/coffee mug/bed spread..etc.. merchandise. Pretty sure Angelspit haven't done that.
