And Also the Trees es una banda de rock formada en 1979 en el Reino Unido. Destacan sus letras poéticas y la música evocadora que está fuertemente influenciada por su paisaje nativo de Inglaterra.
Se inició en los principios de la década de 1980 en Inkberrow, un pequeño pueblo en Worcestershire. La banda fue inspirada por la ideología del movimiento post-punk naciente, pero tuvo siempre raíces rurales.

It's incredible how addicted I am to their albums (so far I have the self-titled, Virus Meadow, The Millpond Years and Farewell To The Shade). "Playing them to death" is not possible, the music will never get even slightly boring after all these listenings. Even one of my favourite bands of that great post-punk era (next to Bauhaus).
