ASP se formaron en 1999 por Alexander Frank Spreng (alias’ Asp) y Matthias Ambre, produciendo sus primeros 3-pista de demostración de CD más tarde ese año. The following year saw a record deal with Trisol, who released the bands debut album ‘Hast Du mich vermisst?’, as well as the bands first live performance, at the ‘Gothicworld’ festival (having added a bassist, drummer and a choir section to the line-up). Naja zur Verteidigung von Stillste Stund wollen wir mal sagen dass es ein echt interessanter Song geworden ist, den sie da gemacht haben. Ich glaube jedoch dass das Album von ASP mehr die romantischen Gemüter besänftigt, Stillste Stund dagegen eher den gewissen traumatischen Wahnsinn der Mühle thematisieren, so wie er im Sinne eines Kinderbuches ja gar nicht dargestellt wird. Beides ganz gut =)
