Con la banda A SUNNY DAY IN GLASGOW no pasa esto. Le han dado una vuelta y media a éste género, ayudados por la tecnología electrónica y las distorsiones vocales psicodélicas de las niñas, dándole así un toque fresco al viejo y entrañable shoegaze. Camino que han seguido muchas bandas que han emergido creando un «revival» del género.

There's something about the over-processed dissonance/beauty of Scribble Mural that makes me prefer it still, despite Ashes Grammar being the more controlled/expansive record. That said, though, Ashes is a hell of a satisfactory follow-up.

I somewhat agree with benjaminroosien, but I love both equally for both reasons, SMCJ for its highlight after highlight and Ashes Grammar as being a brilliantly written album with great flow. Both are equally great in their own way.

I dunno, man. Ashes Grammar works exceedingly well as a whole, but Scribble Mural Comic Journal is just highlight after highlight. I mean, I really can't think of a weak track on it. Really, I can't think of a non-highlight-quality track on it. Each second of that album just kills.
