Oh lord! I just watched ''Tsumetai Tsuki'' A-M-A-Z-I-N-G [2] She's amazing in this drama! Her character is so dreadful, but it was impossible for me to hate her.

Accoding to Japanese Wikipedia Miyuki Nakajima originally planned on providing Akina with her song 見返り美人 in 1986. How I would have liked to hear both Akina's and Miyuki's versions. I wonder what happened? :<

LoL somebody made a disco version of Gypsy Queen? I wonder if it would have been a more popular single if it was made like this. :D

Some of the songs seem like they added vocal harmonies afterwards like TANGO NOIR and DESIRE because they feel kinda different? It would be a bit peculiar if they really were originally that buried under all the other sounds that you couldn't hear them at all back then.

Anyone found a description of the remixing process concerning the new Best album? Sometimes I'm not sure if it's just the clearer vocal mixing or if they used some previously unreleased vocal tracks on the songs. Kinda confusing, but it's nice that they went through all of this trouble rather than release just another cookie cutter collection. However, with some songs I still prefer the originals even if they're a bit mushed together mixing wise. I don't really understand what 目をとじて小旅行 is doing on the album when she has much more noteworthy b-sides such as Blue On Pink, BILITIS, Amish, 薔薇一夜 (this song really would have needed a remix since the original is quite bad imo) or BABYLON. NON-FICTION ECSTASY could have also been replaced by some of those b-sides.

TATTOO was my first Akina song and "I MISSED 'THE SHOCK'" was one of my first loves as well. Love late 80s Akina.
