The Wakarusa Music and Camping Festival is a 4-day foot-stomping party in Northwest Arkansas. Wakarusa was founded and held in Kansas for the first several summers, and moved to Mulberry Mountain near Ozark, Arkansas, in the Summer of 2009. Back in Summer 2010 for the 2nd Wakarusa at Mulberry Mountain (Arkansas location). Back in 2011. Back in 2012. Born in 2004, Wakarusa burst onto the scene with a diverse and eclectic lineup featuring over 70 artists. Fans who made the trip to Wakarusa left with unforgettable stories of the music and the beautiful surroundings. From 2004-2005, Wakarusa established itself as a premiere, grassroots event in the nationwide outdoor music scene. By 2006 the event featured over 100 artists, 7 stages and over 4 days of non-stop music and entertainment. The 2007 and 2008 events again featured over 100s of artists and drew attendees from all 50 U.S. States and several other countries. 2009 marked 6th Anniversary of Wakarusa. 2010 the 7th. 2011 the 8th. 2012 the 9th Wakarusa.

WAKA was the shit again, no suprise there, Widespread, umphrey's, Lotus, and Bisco where life changing 1st time i got to see them was really excited about it but sad enough there where people I wanted to see but didn't get to :( , f***in' sun was a drag, drained all the energy out me half the time lol, well can't wait til harvest fest... KELLER!!!

Shouting out for Jonathan Tyler and the Northern Lights and Gov't Mule. The first one of the better up and coming bands I've tasted in a while, the second one of the best bands Warren Haynes ever graced! Now where's my prize? ;)
