Country will get you in the end... Americana/Alt-Country/Roots live music promotion in Sheffield
Having tired of seeing many a fine act bypass our fair city of Sheffield, we decided to start doing something about it ourselves. Presenting an eclectic blend of Americana, Alt-Country, and Roots, we’re WagonWheelMedia.
We’ve been promoting live music since 2006, the majority of our previous shows having been at the sadly now defunct venue that was The Grapes which closed its doors in late 2010. In over 100 shows there we featured many great acts from both the UK and abroad.
In early 2011 we began putting on our shows at The Greystones and we also now run a monthly night (usually) on the last Friday of each month at Shakespeares. We have many more highly anticipated shows lined up for the rest of 2012. Keep an eye on the Gigs page of our website for more details. All of our shows are promoted under the banner of “WagonWheel Presents…“
