The Last.fm group for vegans and vegetarians

Welcome to the Last.fm group for vegans and vegetarians. Vegans don't consume any animal products. Vegetarians don't consume any meat, fish or poultry. Some are dietary vegans; others consume dairy products (lacto vegetarians); some eat eggs (ovo; with the former, ovo-lacto); and there are other personal variants. Vegans and vegetarians choose not to consume animals products for various reasons: ethical (animal rights), religious, cultural, traditional, health, environmental, etc. So, do veggies make better music? Ther is nothing wrong with being vegatarian-I have been lacto sometimes for 4-5 months at a time a put on alot of muscle with soy Pls understand though to me meat is a treat and to finish in most culinary cirle's ones private life cannot be spoken about-in some hotel chains you will sign a twenty year waiver to secrecy about a customer's lifestyle- and don't ask me who,how, when or what I have served

Yep! All the connected artists are veggie or vegan. (Some may be ex-veggies, though – it's hard to clarify.)

I love to see that one of the connected artists on this page is Meatloaf! :D I've been vegetarian since 1991, when I was 11. I never developed much of a taste for meat (my dad was veg from the time he was 19 and we never ate a lot of it at home), I prefer soy milk to dairy milk, but I have yet to overcome my addiction to cheese (I always go for the kind produced on small dairy farms to assuage my conscience). I have found that you win a lot more people over to cutting meat out of their diet with an explanation of why you chose to stop eating it in a matter-of-fact way, and then offering your "audience" something awesome to eat to show them that eating ethically can be delicious... much more effective than moralizing, scare tactics, and guilt trips.
