Out now on Haute Magie Records - a batch of five new releases. The actual release date of these albums is Decembre 31st, 2009, but due to a computer crash, they are just available for order now. Thank you for your patience. The site is currently being updated quite a bit, but visit heofthehouse.com for orders, information, special promotions, our full distro, trades, other fun tidbits, and so on. All CDs $5. All cassettes $6.
HM003 Woven - Woven CDr
The debut release from Missouri's Woven, threading a perfect mixture of ambient atmospheres and demolishing-yet-ethereal sounds together under a thick blanket of piercing shrieks and guttural growls. Metal for the ages. Space ages, that is.
Limited to 80 copies in black sleeve with full colour artwork & insert
HM004 Nemesism - Young Death Demos c20 cassette
The debut release from Nemesism, Given Willingly's doom-iful, disturbingly heavy alter ego. Electronic soundscapes, blastbeats, scorching solos & riffs, and bowel-churning vocals make up this short-yet-sweet & sour album, giving a taste of what is to come in the full-length follow up.
Limited to 40 copies in hardcase with full size layout
HM005 Sorry Robin - Bloodspattered Damsel CDr
Straying away from the usual straight-noise and power electronics that he usually employs, Sorry Robin blasts through this solid album with a sound that gives tribute to EBM, tribal tempos, and powernoise with his tried and true signatures shining through in a pounding nostalgic haze.
Limited to 40 copies in black sleeve with full colour artwork & insert
HM006 RedSK / A Mannequins Smile - Kiss The Naked Mannequin Mans Hand split c40 cassette
RedSK brings out his signature blend of blistering electronics, harrowing beats, and demystifying soundscapes while A Mannequins Smile tries his hand at the harsher side of his sound, dropping 8bit pop in its rightful place alongside flickering&buzzing electro-lashes.
Limited to 30 copies in soft polycase with insert
HM007 Sleepers & Jason "EVIL" Covelli - Mavet Perach...Schön Verrück 3"CDr
The first of many collaborations between the drones, dark ambiance, and creeping sound manipulations of Sleepers and the doomed truth silver tongued spoken word of Jason "EVIL" Covelli. Sounds to fill a mental ward (or empty one).
Limited to 30 copies on black handpainted CDr in handmade booklet
Coming soon
Footpaths / bunrage split cassette, MESSENGER CDr, Sleepers & RedSK, Fascist Insect / Dead Peasant Insurance split 12”, Yellow Paint Eater cassette, Saturn Form Essence cassette, Ginny Greenteeth cassette, Pallid CDr / cassette

Accepting Submissions for three New Comps: Spoken Word / Experimental Female…
17 Nov 2009, 20:54 de SilasCiaran
Well, seeing as how the Hallowe'en compilation came out absolutely amazingly, and I got to work with a handful of great artists, I figured it was time to start up the next ones.
I have dozens of other ideas, but these two interest me the most as of right now.
Spoken Word
I have always had a small obsession with spoken word, comedy, standup, poetry (but not readings) performances, and so on.
Therefore, I figured I might as well try this out. Since this will be the first spoken word comp, there won't be a general theme, but I would really appreciate if the material submitted was mostly all new.
No submission deadline as of right now, but if things start dragging along and I've got a good amount of material, I will figure one out.
Tracks can be accompanied / backed by music, and collaborations are welcome, but tracks with nothing but samples / pieces of music with samples or spoken word that obviously have nothing to really do with the words, are not welcome.
Entries thus far: Sleepers, Agnostic Asylum
Female Noisers / Experimentalists
Experimental noise, dark ambient, industrial, and so on has always piqued my interest so much more than other genres, when it is made by females. This isn't a generalisation, it's the truth; males are far more likely to create experimental music than females. I've been to a lot of countries and have been involved in a lot of scenes, and it is just universal.
I've always wanted to collect a flat out female-based compilation. It doesn't HAVE to be noise by any means, but the more 'experimental', the better. Noise, power electronics, dark ambient, power violence, anti-pop, one-woman black metal, trip hop, drone, ambient, hip-hop, and so on. Not really interested in full bands or 'metal', but if you truly stand out, you might be welcome.
Absolutely no singer-songwriter / folk, unless it REALLY stretches the boundaries of those genres.
For the deadline, same as above.
Underground Hip Hop
This is pretty much self explanatory. I want to pull together all of the extended genres threaded throughout the underground Hip Hop world of today.
Any form of the genre is allowed, meaning all crossovers. Nothing pseudo-gangster. Nothing racist, nothing overly stupid, no 'bitches and hos'. You know what I mean.
=================================
These will be released on He Of The House Media as CDr or cassette, and each artist gets a copy for their archives.
If you have submissions for either, send them as a WAV or on CD to:

v/a We'll Leave The Lights On compilation CDr out now on He Of The House Media
15 Nov 2009, 5:50 de SilasCiaran
He Of The House's very first (of many) compilation. Nineteen tracks from twenty artists, the end result of which is possibly one of the most diverse compilations I've ever heard. From soft spoken acoustic folk to raving, churning dirge tunes; from a noisy, industrial cover of a Sonic Youth song to oldschool punk from when it was still raw, fast, and unforgiving. Powerviolence peppers the grounds where spooked whispers whinny along, and the caustic words of a madman festering in his own mind play out over perpetually plucked guitar strings. A true honour it is to work with these amazing artists, and I do hope we can keep them coming back for years.
Featuring: Zombie Battle Axe, XharoldshitmanX, Kro & Jason "EVIL" Covelli, Nemesism, Ginny Greenteeth, Don't Move, Spiral Vertigo, Chachi On Acid, Mike Bruno, Autopia, Dead Kid Harvester, Jason "EVIL" Covelli, Karmakumulator, Chelsea Wolfe, RedSK vs. teh soup rebellion, Torturing Nurse, Sleepers, Flea McGruff
Housed in handmade & handpainted paper jackets with individually original black tissue cutouts, enclosed with a button. Featuring full page insert artwork by Jason "EVIL" Covelli and a blurb about each band/artist from myself.
Limited to 45 handnumbered copies.
