My brother bought "Californication" when it came to the shops in 1999...I was 7, and I loved the title song !! Of course I couldn't know about what are they singing, cause I'm Polish and i didn't know English...even though this music and Anthon's voice thrilled me!! I had been listening, and listening...:) Something about 2002 I stopped, cause it was a little boring to listen only RHCP :P and my parents were furious! :P

When ~3 years later I became to Chili Peppers I loved them much more than few years before :D :D :D They're the best ! :)

..sorry for English, I'm still not good enough as you can see :D

I was ten years old when I first got in touch with the Chilis. Oh, blessed the day a friend of mine surprised me with Californication on his hands saying "well i got one for you too!" Fell in love with the album since the begining. "Get On Top" made me jump in my bed (got to hear a lot from my mother xD)! Well, since then I've listen to them and RHCP became my favorite band, until now. Always tried to know more about them, to know the oldest albums and so on. Can't get bored of them, no way!

I shit and I stink.
I'm real, join the club.
I'd stop and talk but I'm already in love.

It was the spring of 1999 just before the release of Scar Tissue. My brother walked into the room going "gibr away gibr away". I was stunned, asked him what's wrong with him and what's that nonsense... then he hit me(i'm glad he did). THE RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS awwww he screamed. That's how it started.

I was 7/8/9/10 (i don't remember, but i was pretty young) when i heard 'otherside' on the radio. I just loved the song, and then i got the 'Greatest Hits', and here i am. :D

Well does anyone NOT know the Red Hot Chili Peppers? I mean.. you just have to know them.
I'm listening to this brilliant band since I'm seven or something and they're just getting better and better with every album :D

My brother is a big fan of rhcp, and has been most of his life. I always said I wouldn't like them the way he did, because I didn't wan't to seem like a wannabe. But when I bought Stadium Arcadium I became hooked, and I've explored all of their old music. I'm so glad i desided to check them out, i've never heard more amazing music, anywhere in the world! The red hot chilli peppers are amazing, and there's nothing more to say. They've changed my life in many ways.

I can't remember when it all really started, I think it came to me more like "in phases" ^^ I would say I (somehow) knew "Under The Bridge" for a while (maybe it was on MTV then^^ dunno..) and I liked it but never really got connected with the band... Then "Californication" came, and the song "Californication" got my favorite (also liked the video^^)... Then, later, they totally got me with "By The Way" (single was new favorite again). I had an exchange in Aberdeen, Scotland and my exchange mate listened to RHCP for a while... that was shortly after BTW... I listened to it again and again... and now I couldn't live without them anymore...
You could say it was love at second sight, but love for life! :)

well when stadium arcadium came out i was 12 and i thought they were pretty cool, a lot better than everything else in the mainstream. but at that time i never really looked into them nor was i a huge fan of music

later that year however i went to visit my brother in another country, it was the first time ive seen him since i was 5.
so basically we were strangers

he was telling me about his music and i told him that i wasnt a huge fan of music
shocked, he put on the pepper's greatest hits and asked me "you mean to tell me this doesnt touch you"
as he played track 6, otherside

i recognized the song from around the same time my brother had left in the first place
and i just started crying

ever since i have loved music and everything about the peppers

I was 11 I think, in 1999 when I first heard them. The song I remember was Californication, then a few years later I heard Under The Bridge and realised it was them. A few years later (like when I was 13) I borrowed Californication from the library, and listened to it a bit, then didn't hear much throughout high school (the odd song here and there on the radio). Then I heard Dani California in 2006, and liked that, but didn't actually look into them properly until early last year....now they're probably my favourite band

Oh, lot of people around me listen Chilis, talk about them and watch them. But I really started interested RHCP when they had come to my country. I didn't go to their show ( I hate myself now!) also I got to know their music.
Now Red Hot Chili Peppers is my fav band^^

getting a lift home off a mate 8 years ago when i was 10 years old, friends dad put otherside on the cd player, blew me away :) bought greatest hits the next day, then a couple of weeks later bought BSSM - best album ive ever listened to. now have all their albums.

I love Chili Peppers since...

I think it was 2000/2001? When "By The Way" was comming out. And it was love @ first sight with the video! For my birthday, my aunt gave me their album. Yeah... that was wonderful... so, I became their fan. And since 2000/2001, nothing changed my love for them :)

it was 2002 i think, when i got my first, used personal computer from my cousin, and he had an winamp playlist there, with like 50 songs...2 of them i liked most, cant stop and californication, then i went to stores and bought every cd i found, till now x]
