New Postal Service song leaked on podcast

I don't know if you've heard it yet, but check it out. It's called "Importance of Being", it's a demo, but it sounds pretty good. It's on the Shapeless Mass Podcast here:

"Angel Pumping Gas" is by a band called Postal, who have since changed their name to Lindsey Pool.

If you read either article, it is still a mystery who did the song.

  • ok thanks for that, that's handy to know.

  • Hmm, I heard it and I love it. I know that Jimmy is the only one doing Postal Service remixes (like remixing songs from other artists with different vocals), since Ben isn't really needed to do sing and he releases those remixes as "Postal Service". I listen to Figurine and Jimmy's other bands and I think it sort of sounds like he could have done the music part, but I'm not sure cause the vocals are def. not Ben Gibbard.

I don't know why someone would release the name under Postal Service if they weren't them, but I wonder who it is haha because they sound great.

  • Oh nvm, I just read that MTV article and he def. says it's not him. lol, that's werid though.
