The best group on last.fm

Shoegaze is dreamy/noisy/chaotic/calm, often hypnotic guitar based music. The genre had its "golden" years between 1988-93. Some of the most important bands at that time were My Bloody Valentine, Curve, Slowdive, Ride, Chapterhouse, Cocteau Twins and Lush. New bands that could be described as shoegaze are Deerhunter, Asobi Seksu, M83, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart and A Place to Bury Strangers, etc... I don't love them, they shouldn't be number one in a group of supposed shoegaze fans. It dissapoints me that the diluted boredom that is Radiohead is even discussed here. I'd add a similarly ignorant, arrogant ending in response but I'm not a desperate 16 year old prom victim who thinks my shit opinion is final. a'looooooooooooooooooool. I'll give you that though.
