i'm in brittany now & love it. i had hayden first, but i honestly think i'm happier where i got placed. Third North's not bad, especially since it's got a kitchen & all. Hayden's popular but i was never really sure why, except the dining hall is pretty nice.

I stayed at Brittany (10th St & Broadway) when I was a freshman. Great dorm, very social. Only drawback is that there isn't any air conditioning, but that shouldn't really be too bad of a problem. For music, I'd check out "Other Music" (15 E. 4th Street), "Generation Records" (210 Thompson Street), and "Bleeker Bob's" (118 West 3rd Street). Those should be good enough to get you started...
