A group for enthusiasts of Indian Metal artists.

This is a group dedicated to Metal Artists from India. There is a pretty good metal scene and kickass bands in India. But they seriously need discovery. This group should be the perfect place to discover Indian bands. Find Indian bands. Talk about metal scene in India. Throw around recommendations. Post download and review links. Criticise bands. Share your concert experiences in India. Get other people started into Indian metal. Talk foul as much as you can. Spew out sexist comments. Play forum games. Spread the buzz. Etc etc.

Looking forward to seeing a lot of activity from you all guys in the forum, shoutbox, connected artist pages.

It does not matter if you are from India or not. If you have a fascination for Indian Metal and would love to see the metal scene flourish in India, you are most welcome.

There are 50+ free tracks available for download in lastfm from various Indian artists. If you are absolute beginner to indian metal, that is the easiest way to start.

And man, No one is pressurizing you to listen to the charts you dont like, no one is adding 'Those-so-called-shit music' into your playlist, so take a mug of Shut the fuck up and relax. You should stop hating the bands you dont like, but, start favoring your bands, tell me, what have you done for your 'So-called-fav-bands'? work on it, encouraging people to listen to the charts you like, stop hating other genres(progressive in your case). Sure, One day, You will be Metal(~Music) lover in all. Pathos on you, your noob, it is difficult, but you can do this, This group is with you!!

Besides, 5/10 of the "Metal" bands than make up the Weekly Top Artist on this group either suck or are mediocre at best, so, there you go.

If, on the other hand, the charts consisted of some abomination like The Mars Volta or some other pseudo-progressive shit, I'd agree with you on them having no business being on the weekly charts.

You can't bind people to listen to your type of music.. let them listen to what they, why should that bother you .. and obviously Porcupine Tree and Lady Gaga cannot be compared in terms of talent.

Why not? What's wrong with metalheads enjoying a fairly decent Progressive rock band? On the other hand, the presence of Lamb of God in the charts disturbs me. That band shouldn't be relevant to anyone in general.

Yes. I don't see how a metalhead could like Porcupine Tree. Though acknowledging that Porcupine Tree is a fine band. But how would can it be relevant to a metalhead? I also hate Pink Floyd in the charts.
