Not for the ones "weak at heart". This is Thrash in its purest form. If this doesnt make you feel like killing 1000 emos and Scene kids, you'd better be listening to "My Chemical Romance".

Morbid Saint released an album "Spectrum of Death" way back in 1988 of such skull crushing brutality which is unmatched even after 21 years of its existence.

You got to listen to believe this.The album consists of 32 minutes of unrelenting, neckbreakingly fast and most intense metal moments ever created. This gives even masterpieces like "Darkness Descends" and "Hell Awaits" a run for its money. Full of hateful,thrashy (tending to sway in death metal style) vocals, millions of crushing riffs and amazing drum rolls and blastbeats.

Oh and btw,JIm (the lead guitarist of the band) recently appeared on Metal-Archives and also on Rate Your Music thanking the fans for keeping the music of the band still alive. His ID on Metal-Archives is "Morbid4ever".Here is an excerpt from what he wrote.

My name is Jim Fergades and I am one of the founding members of Morbid Saint.
I would like to thank all of you for your kind words and am amazed that people are still listening to the music we wrote so long ago.

Your views on our music blows my mind, we never tried to write anything to sound a certain way or to have a certain feeling. We wrote the only way we new how and that was from our hearts. We loved the music we played and it really didn’t matter what people said as long as our very few loyal fans were happy with what we did.

We were more of a live band and never thought our music could be captured on tape to do it justice. I think Eric did a great job in the studio and we are very fortunate to have worked with him.

I really like the comments about Assassin, that song was a bitch to write.
It was never meant to be as long as it is but we just couldn’t stop. Every time we thought we were done, a new riff would make it’s way into the song.
That is the one song I myself would like people to remember us by, I think it pretty much show’s what we were all about.

Again, I would like to thank you all so very much and we wish we would have had the chance to play live for people around the world to let then see the real Morbid Saint.
