This is for all last.fm users with rodents in their avatar photos.

The rodent in both the group photo and my own avatar photo is my pet guinea pig, Benny. Isn't he adorable?

    macychick, guinea pigs are indeed members of the order rodentia, thus making them rodents. Caviidae is their family, thus also making them cavies, along with capybaras and patagonian hares. So they are rodents and cavies :) Rabbits, on the other hand, are not rodents but lagomorphs, which I was shocked to find out. They should just group all the cute fluffy animals together! Sorry for all the info I'm just a Bio major who really likes guinea pigs :)

    I just discovered that guinea pigs are not rodents but cavies. Hmmm....should I still keep this group alive?
