• Too expensive.
    Bored design.
    iTunes sucks!
It's just a music player like any other and even others are better.

People are always saying how hard it is to put song and stuff on it so i'll stick to the simple copy and paste thank you

  • Well, here we go- I AM NOT TROLLING, BUT I JUST HAVE TO GET THIS OFF MY CHEST. I am not being disrespectful, so please, don't respond with hate. We are all adults, we can "agree to disagree".

    1) iPod Classic, has been around for years, there is nothing to "keep up with" every season.
    2) iPods have video recorders. I like that very much.
    3) iPods have radio, I like that too. If you hear a song you like on the radio, you can click on it, and the next time you plug it in to iTunes, it downloads the song.
    4) iPods are extremely well built, I have 4 iPods, none of them have ever broken down.
    5) iPods have an HD screen, nice to watch movies, music videos, or video you have recorded with the iPod. Also good for long commutes, plane trips, or just any situation where you could watch the latest episode of your favorite show you missed the other night. I commute 70 miles a day, so I watch the last nights news.
    6) My iTunes library is 72 DAYS long. As far as I know, iPods are the only mp3 players that come with 180 gig capacity. My iPod Classic is the only mp3 player on the market that can hold my library, movies, podcasts & various playlists.

AND THATS WHY I OWN iPODS :)

  • My reasons for not owning an iPod.

    1. I hear the headphones are crap
    2. iTunes, i have always used Windows Media player & it's really simple & easy for me to use.
    3. I have a sony X series walkman. Show me an iPod with better music quality.
    4. No wma? Yeah, it's a microsoft thing but it can convert files at a lower biterate without having a much of a difference in sound.

    1. Whenever I go outside I like to take my music with me. And that's all. I don't need all the extra stuff that comes with the iPod/Touch. Just music, nothing more, nothing less.
    2. They don't have microSDHC slots! Blasphemy!
    3. Financially it doesn't make sense. Why get an 8 GB iPod Nano for ~$150 when I can get a 4GB Sansa Fuze for ~$70 and buy a 16GB mircoSDHC card for ~$10? For a combined 20GB for ~$80. MP3 players with microSDHC slots can practically have an unlimited amount of space since you can just buy more and more microSDHC cards. Though it may be impractical...
    4. You can't transfer songs you have on your iPod to another computer! What is that...tsk tsk tsk.

    Guess that's all.

My humble Sony NWZ-E443 4GB is all I need. I got it as a gift back in the days, but it's still just fine and working. I don't need all those extra features. Music player is to play music just like a phone is to call people and not to have 398457349857 pxl camera and GPS built-in... And by the way, I use iTunes on my PC, like it very much, would like to purchase MacBook Pro one day, maybe even an iPod. But as of now "I don't have an iPod".

  • I think it's too expensive.
