Eric Carr - Legendary drummer of Kiss during the 80's

Eric Carr was the drummer of Kiss from 1980 to 1991, when he died from complications of heart cancer. He played on 7 studio albums with the band. He was accepted into Kiss after doing a succesfull audition infront of Ace Frehley, Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons. His first preformances was in New York, then a small europe tour, and finaly a claccic tour trough out Australia, where the expression Kissteria was born. His caracter during the make up period was The Fox. After taking the make up of, he spent 7 years with Kiss being one of the leding acts of the glam metal movement. He tradigly died in 1991 from complications of heart cancer.

I love Eric Carr...that's because he's a great musician, a really thunderous drummer (in my opinion the best of Kiss) and a guy with a huge disposition both for the band and his fans. Rest In Peace Eric...I hope you can see that all the fans you've respected and you've stayed near in your life are all near to you now.
