Few bands were as prolific and had as great an influence as ELO. Likewise, Jeff Lynne has had an amazing impact and indelible mark on the face of music as we all know it. I cannot find fault with much of ELO's output at all. It's serious "go-to" music for me. I'm NEVER disappointed when I throw on any of their big albums. That blend of rock and classical, among other styles, is one that always attracts me to a band, The Moody Blues being another prime example. I'm glad that ELO is getting recognition via this group on last.fm.

my favorite album would probably be Face The Music and i do think the album Time is brilliantly underrated.

Just wanted to say RIP to Mike Edwards who has been killed in a motoring accident.He played cello on ELO's second and third albums,and his contribution will never be forgotten.Rest in peace Mike.

It's impossible to choose a favorite if you ask me, it's one of the few bands that has an entire discography of fantastic albums without one failing, though I probably listen to A New World Record or Time the most. :) Out of The Blue is a cracking album!
