Hmmmm... maybe Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II (Guns N' Roses)

Definitely Innuendo by Queen. No doubt.

  • Hard Choice... Human by Death, or Blessed are the Sick by Morbid Angel, but DEFINITELY NOT Metallica's Black album. That album marks the point where Metallica started being mainstream sellouts and just generally writing REALLY bad and boring music. I shall forever hate that album with all of my being.

    1. Death - Human
    2. Crimson Glory - Strange and Beautiful
    3. Loreena McKennitt - The Visit

    certainly NOT black album.

  • I'd say... Nevermind by Nirvana.

cyndi lauper - hat full of stars :DDDDDDD

  • Soulside Journey by Darkthrone is also really good.

Edit: I have now decided my favourite 1991 album is Beyond Sanctorum by Therion.

so many great albums but my favorite... Pearl Jam - Ten

  • Can't decide. :-(

I really do like My Bloody Valentine's Loveless a lot. Though I don't listen to it nearly as much as I used to, I'd say Nirvana's Nevermind really captures the musical climate of the time. In terms of music that I think I would have listened to if I was this age in 1991, I think that I'd be a big fan of Sebadoh's III.

There was the exact same thread in another group. So, here's my answer:

Rotting Christ - Passage to Arcturo
    Death- Human
Darkthrone - A Blaze In The Northern Sky/ Soulside Journey
    Samael- Worship Him
    Paradise Lost - Gothic
Morbid Angel - Blessed Are The Sick

These are the first that come to mind.

  • NOFX - Ribbed

  • Death - Human
    Mr. Bungle - (self-titled)

    Loveless by My Bloody Valentine

  • No questions about it - Innuendo by Queen is the best album of 1991, and one of the best albums ever made. It's weird that no one mention that album in this topic -.-'
