    not coming back now

    bye

    p.s. no teasing

  • You deserve teasing for the repeated posts if nothing else... Wait... yep, your music deserves teasing as well

  • Aw, that's not nice... but I do have to agree.

But now it's me and luck
Best of friends and drunk again and we're all going to Hell
And what I mean to say is I mean that in the best possible way

you're boring, and do not deserve any funny teasing.
who's the brown guy? you mean Redd Foxx? he doesn't tease much, nowadays, due to him being dead and all. dick.

  • That was a pretty dick thing to say, but I wouldn't bet against Redd opening up a comedy club in the afterlife, may he rest in peace.

But now it's me and luck
Best of friends and drunk again and we're all going to Hell

    srsly! what a good dude.

  • It's not an album, but the new single from Motion City Soundtrack is really, really good. Might be the best song they've made yet.

But now it's me and luck
Best of friends and drunk again and we're all going to Hell

  • The new compilation album Family Tree from Nick Drake is incredible, I still haven't taken it out of my car CD player to put it on my computer. If it can count as album of the year, it will be, hands down.

A few notable releases later this year- Between The Buried And Me, Every Time I Die, and Rogue Wave. I still believe the best music this year is yet to come.

But now it's me and luck
Best of friends and drunk again and we're all going to Hell

  • Just got my hands on an advance of the new Rooney. It's good, not sure it's better than their self-titled debut though.

Looking forward to the new Black My Heart... whenever that's going to be released.

  • every time i die - the big dirty

good choice -- i heard that one's lamer than their last lame record!

  • Just got my hands on an advance copy of The Big Dirty. The album is decent, but they're not doing anything all that special. It's better than Gutter Phenomenon, but it's standard fare as metalcore bands go. Solid yet unspectacular.

i think it's a step up from gutter phenomenon. the album does lack some originality but you can tell it's ETID when you hear it.

so you heard that the album is "lamer" but you haven't even listened to it, go figure...

  • It's a slight step up from GP, but, other than a few impressive moments, Last Night In Town and Hot Damn! are still ETID's best efforts (although The New Black and Apocalypse Now And Then are two of my favorite ETID songs, go figure).

duh. metalcore is such a joke! i still can't believe how many people take that craziness seriously.

  • There are some good metalcore bands out there, namely Between The Buried And Me and Shai Hulud (early Stretch Arm Strong as well)... but yes, most metalcore is pretty much a joke and sounds the same.

But now it's me and luck

david sease of SAS was my US history teacher, that's no joke

  • Oh I don't doubt it for a second, it's well-known amongst SAS fans that a few of the members have served as teachers when they're not with the band.

    I like riot! by paramore.
Ohhh and arrivals and departures by silverstein.
    They're the best.

  • The more I listen to The Big Dirty the more I like it, although I question why ETID would want the bitch-boy lead singer from Alexisonfire to sing on what's supposed to be a badass song (INRIhab). Damn he sucks.

    yeah.
    paramore is okay.
if you're one of the many who thought, "you know, panic at the disco would be really legit with a girl singer with less of a knack for the ironic but not any more interesting."
i hear you on that one.

  • The new Modern Life Is War is absolutely incredible. By far the best hardcore release since We're Down Till We're Underground and maybe even the best of the 2000s. I bought it the day it came out and have been listening to it for the past 9 days non-stop in my car... and now I'm jamming out to it on my computer.

The first truly great album I've heard this year.

I'm loving The Honorary Title - Scream And Light Up The Sky
Also Four Year Strong - Rise Or Die Trying has been played countless times by me.
