ipod scrobbling - multiple plays at the same time?

  • ipod scrobbling - multiple plays at the same time?

So this happens to me now and then - so say i listen to a track five or ten times in the same day, at various times throughout the day. Then at the end of the day I connect my iPod to my computer and the last.fm scrobbler pops up and asks me to verify my plays and then scrobbles the songs. When I go on last.fm, though, if I listened to a song more than once, it shows up as a bunch of plays all at the same time. (Example: look at my profile and notice that I somehow played A Tribe Called Quest's Electric Relaxation five times yesterday at 6:44.) Is there any fix for this? Sometimes I won't connect my iPod to the computer for a week or so, and in that case this ends up happening to tons of songs.

  • Nevermind, apparently this is a FAQ. However, I'm having the same issue as another poster here, which is that if I decide I want to just make it show up once and delete the other plays, I can't. Hitting delete for one of them deletes them all.

Songs can be deleted from your playlist by going to the chronological timeline and deleting from there (you will see a x on the right hand side)
