Loved being there. It was my first time. My wife and I both cried on the rail as Trent played Hurt for the last time :( Big thanks to the NiN road crew for all the years of hard work and memories (and all the swag too). You guys rock!

yeasayer really put the energy bar to a level mgmt could not reach it seemed. i think the pushing was worse during crystal castles than mgmt for myself.. i was too drained and as-to-elbow to watch girltalk. andrew bird lovely as always! what a guy. the first band i watched was white rabbits and they were fucking grand.. great way to start it, their new album is awesome also.

I do so enjoy that Nine Inch Nails is listed first!

i was also disappointed by mgmt. half of that, however, is due to the unfriendly crowd. tons of pushing, tons of shoving. pretty ridiculous. the other shows had an incredible atmosphere. if you wanted to get close, you could. yeasayer, however? incredible. wilco was also amazing. and band of horses. decemberists a bit disappointing, as well, as they played hazards of love all the way through. the encore was better though. until next year!

I saw all of NIN and then caught MGMT afterwards. I disagree that they suck live. Their whole look is about apathy. When I saw them open for Beck, he looked like he had literally rolled out of bed and started playin. It's an image that really fits the sound of a youthful careless generation. Not everything is about energy. Their not NIN or Bruce. Nor do they need to follow any kind of prerequisites to have a killer show. I'm sorry these talented bastards disappointed you so much. As far as mistakes are concerned, I concede none.

so about 74,999 people survived Bonnaroo 09.. way too many people there but it was still a great time I like the few songs I saw by MGMT but I was hoppin' around the late nights I wish I had could've saw Yeasayer; Decemberist and Mars Volta were also missed

MGMT parties with books. So I'm not surprised you feel threatened by them. You'll come around one day.

MGMT lack energy in their live set for sure. That's why they are disappointing. I guess it takes drugs and glow sticks to see past that, but I wasn't sporting either of the two. I prefer bands that make me feel like I'm on a drug when I'm completely sober. The Yeasayer set was unbelievable. They should of had the late night set.

MGMT has mastered interdimensional travel. They are actually extra dimensional beings that inhabit human bodies. They sound the same in all dimensions. I don't believe a single person who says they don't like them. You are lying to yorself and the rest of the 10 universes.

The Decemberists were definently the show stealers in my opinion. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs also put on an awesome show!

What a freaking weekend. Being frontrow for Coheed and Cambria and The Mars Volta was the highlight of my time.
