Focus on Sweden
This years’ edition of EuroSonic focusses on swedish music talent and on the Swedish music industry. At least fifteen Swedish bands are performing at the event, while the seminar program of the event will also focus on the Swedish music industry and the intricacies of doing business there.
The focus on Sweden is set up in co-operation with a.o. Export Music Sweden, STIM/Svensk Musik, P3 Swedish Radio and Hultsfred festival.
Showcase heaven
Praised by professionals, press and audiences, the Noorderslag Weekend has grown dramatically over the last few years. The 2007 edition received airplay by over 13 European broadcasting stations while performances by zZz (NL), Goose (B), Enter Shikari (UK) and Loney, Dear (S) led to festival shows throughout Europe and beyond.
Tickets
Ticket presales for EuroSonic and Noorderslag and go-as-you-please tickets for the whole Noorderslag Weekend (EuroSonic and Noorderslag) starts on Saturday 17 November. Tickets can be bought at the bigger post offices, the 100 main Free Record Shops, VVV, GWK, the ticket line 0900 300 1250 (Euro 0,45 per minute), http://www.ticketservice.nl, AUB Ticketshop and the other regular presales addresses.
In Groningen you can buy tickets at Elpee, Plato, VVV, GWK and at the Oosterpoort ticket desk.
