I was going to write an extensive review of this event, but I really don't have the time and it's probably sufficient to say that it was the best festival I've ever attended and I had a great time all around. Excellent music, great food, relatively good organization, environmental friendliness, and no thunderstorms even though they were predicted on 2/3 days! All in all, it was a smashing success.
Best Set: Rich Aucoin by a landslide. A landslide he probably caused himself by inciting an entire tent full of people to dance in a flurry of reckless abandon. I heartily recommend his live show to anyone who has a pulse. Those who do not have pulses are also encouraged to attend, as he just might kickstart your heart.
Best Workshop: Ohbijou & The Wooden Sky played a bunch of fun covers (including The Tragically Hip's Bobcaygeon), not to mention some great originals. …
