The return of Part Chimp!

English noise-rock monsters return to do you life-long damage!
Easily one of the best UK bands of the 00's, we welcome them back for one of only a handful of UK dates.

"Iconoclasts Part Chimp hark back to a time when primordial noise was hip among the guitar-toting, and the Jesus Lizard and Sonic Youth were deities. The Chimps's second album is a marvelously sludgy affair, malevolent and slack by turns. Songs such as 'Hello Bastards' and 'Dr Horse Pt 2' are anachronisms in a well-styled world of angles and edges, but the innard-quaking sensations they induce feel good." Kitty Empire, The Observer

"After listening to 'I Am Come' you will either feel so violated that you'll want to kill yourself or so exhilarated that you'll want to live forever. Isn't that recommendation enough?" - Hardeep Phull, NME

"..unadulterated, amp-blowing eardrum pummeling for the hell of it. Ferocious but fundamentally euphoric. Going deaf has never been so enjoyable" - Simon Goddard, Uncut

Hey Colossus

"I suppose the greatness within the heaviness of Hey Colossus has always consisted in their too much-ness, just like the six-piece 1975 Pere Ubu, the augmented’n’metalled 1978 Van Der Graaf, the briefly double-drum kitted Magma, and the guitarist overlade of LESSON 1-period Glenn Branch. Too much can never be too much when its protagonists display reggae levels of interchange. But herein the Colossus operates such a remarkably economical and sophisticated display of dynamics that it enters territory akin to Parson Sound tracking Pere Ubu’s ’30 Seconds Over Tokyo’, or Gnod on a PARALLEL UNIVERSE-period Far East Family Band-trip...
We’re privy to a band currently at the top of their game. That they’ve delivered us so much already we should be grateful grateful grateful for, but as regards this latest release? These gentlemen deserve a full round of Yowzahs! Or I ain’t the Archdrude of Wessex!" -
The Archdrude of Wessex, Julian Cope

If that wasn't too much already,
Bristol's POHL are obviously going to play as well.

Thunder-riff rock 3-piece.
Now with Hugo (The Heads/Kandodo/Loop!) on bass-fingering duties.

Grunge + hardcore + post-punk + noise rock + indie + pop + sludge + psych + stoner + math + doom+ alt. rock all at once! Without being at all as lame as that sounds.
