U.K street punks Control have been creating quite a stir in punk/streetpunk circles.
Widely regarded as the best UK street punk band in several years , they have toured with Rancid , Cock Sparrer , Cockney Rejects and played the Rebellion Festival .
Control shout about the present generation, living outside society, being crucified in the media, and political policies that oppress the working class.
The band’s highly successful and much acclaimed debut album Hooligan Rock ‘n Roll was released in 2009 and was stuffed full of hard hitting street punk anthems.
Control’s 2nd album Punk Rock Ruined My Life is chock full of angry and melodic punk tunes .The lyrics drip with the frustration of modern day living and the album is set to develop the band’s fans base further.
A lot of other punk bands will have to up their game if they are to compete with Control.
