With great pleasure Odyssey Recordings take to the stage once again. This time we bring you UTAH JAZZ 'GROOVE THERAPY' Album launch World Tour at Slade Rooms, Wolverhampton alongside our very own label artists Narkotix, Mr Moon, Charlene McKenzie, Sanz and Odyssey Collective. Joining us on the night will be Offworld and Bassdrive's very own DJs Scenic and Advisory.

Scenic & Advisory

Scenic & Advisory are a UK (Redditch) based Drum & Bass duo formed by Tommy Osgood (Scenic) & Lee Adkins (Advisory). While they have a penchant for the deep and atmospheric end of the D&B spectrum, blurring the lines between those and other genres is their focus.

With releases on reputable labels such as Binary Soul, Allstreet Recordings and Urban Chemistry Scenic & Advisory have risen from newcomers to a recognisable outfit amongst the scene. With support from Dj's such as Bassdrive's Stunna, Overfiend, Method One, Magin, LM1, Fusion, SoulTec, Indigo Sync, Amnesty and artist/DJs such as Tidal, LJ High, Jaybee, Matik, Seathasky, Future Engineers, Smote, Bassflo, Johnny Beverton to name but a few the duo are making headway within the scene.

Now partnered with the mighty Offworld Recordings and with the support of master producer LM1, Scenic & Advisory have found the perfect platform to deliver their music to fans on a global scale and the freedom to take their music as far as their imaginations.

Narkotix

Odyssey Recordings founding member with debut release entitled 'Odyssey' feat. Charlene McKenzie, out now on iTunes. Narkotix has been following the scene since the early 90's i.e. Quest/Fibre Optic/Pandemonium following through the progression in to World dance, Dreamscapes, Progression Sessions (Good Looking Records). Narkotix started mixing at the age of 19 buying records from the historic local music store 'Ruby Red Records'.His style originates from jungle through to atmospheric, Intelligent, jazzy and chilled out drum & bass. Basically Keeps it to the point of realism (a word he is constantly using) with his mixes, playing a broad range of electronic beats. Something for the forward thinkers. Keep an eye out for forthcoming releases from Narkotix on his rapidly growing label.

Mr Moon

Manager of Odyssey Recordings alongside Narkotix, Mr Moon is one of the new breed of DJ and producers who grew up with a strong musical background playing violin from the age of 8. His style of music evolved from his classical background moving towards modern day dance and electronic music having grown up around some of the greatest dance music and clubs of our time. He focuses on the more eclectic, alternate sounds of drum & bass and underground music being influenced strongly by varying styles of techno, house, break-beat, hip hop and classical music. Keep an eye out for forthcoming realeases from Mr Moon also.

Charlene McKenzie

A recent addition to the Odyssey Recordings roster, Charlene is our resident vocalist and feature on the labels debut release with Narkotix. Her soulful style resonates instantly from the moment she takes to a mic. A truly talented vocalist looking to release further works with Odyssey Recordings and will also be using her vocals live on the night hosting and free styling alongside our DJs.

Sanz

DJ, producer and label representative. Has a strong history in the DnB world with tracks regularly showcased on Nihals show on BBC Asian network. He is currently working on new material so watch this space.
