Does anyone want to swap their tickets for Brixton for two tickets to the Hammersmith date?

So, I am desperate for a ticket. As is everyone who doesn't have one. If anyone feel like helping a fellow Jack White - fan out and sell me their ticket, please please please let me know!

I got my tickets on 30th of March, but they haven't arrived yet. Should I contact Ticketmaster, or this is something 'normal'?

My friend bought a balcony ticket and has since got a stalls one, so if anyone is interested in a balcony one there is one up for grabs. I'm guessing this message will be of more use when it's actually sold out.

Forgetting the fact that ticket master OWNS a ticket resale site. Seems slightly dodgy...

Yeah I wanted to see that program but I missed it! Probably at a gig! I think Ticketmaster need to take some responsibility though, seeing as they get the lions share of the allocation. I can count on one hand the amount of times scalping prevention's have been put in place on tickets I've bought. It's such a nice stress free way to buy. It should be standard procedure now. I've recently had my hand forced to buy tickets not knowing I can deffo make it, but just to make sure I get them at face value. If I can't go, I'll shift them on ebay at no profit for a fellow fan. Viagogo and Stub Hub are the devils work.

@ aguichard thanks for clarifying. That's very annoying indeed. @ Great_listener, I hear you but I don' t think it's Ticketmaster's fault. There was a whole program about this on TV recently. So called fan to fan websites like Viagogo allow people to re-sell loads of tickets at a profit, knowing full well that they're not fans but businessmen (or crooks more like), which is why it has become an absolute nightmare to buy tickets as they sell out within minutes. Apparently, re-sellers don't always sell all the tickets they've bought but they make such a profit on the ones they do sell that they don't care...In the meantime, loads of fans miss out.

Why would they bother refunding? Oh yeah...it's because Ticketmaster are little feckers isn't it. It's the same story for every major concert, one minute after they go 'on sale' there, tickets are available at extortionate prices through other agents. I try to avoid them where poss now. I went through HMV/See tickets for mine. Jokers.

Yes it's on. Whole story... Ticketmaster put the tickets on sale on Wednesday 21st evening, called whoever purchased these tickets the next day to say the event didn't exist and a refund would be issued only for the show to become official the next day after Hammersmith sold out.

What?... Refund? I just bought tickets. It's on, isn't it?

  • aguichard

I wish they had told me "we put it on sale too early" instead of "this event doesn't exist". I'll probably do both Hammersmith and Brixton anyway...
