...ran out of space... so just a quick P.S. The girls were a wonderfully aesthetic appeal to the stage and the drum (line? Circle? was especially cool. It amazed me how incredible how everyone looked and played. It was almost as though the years apart did nothing but weave the bond even tighter. We should all be so lucky to find such a metaphorical time capsule in our own journeys. I say let the RHCP's go into the HOF w/o you Dave...as you guys will most certainly follow with even greater glory!!! I hope more dates and venues are added to the tour, and feel free to bring me along to document the electricity. Ive been a big fan since the beginning, and am blown away by the X factor you have all brought to the new record, and especially the tour. Thanks again for all of the magic...and the memories.

Terrific show!!! Sounded fantastic. Perry and Dave were on top of their game (maybe it was the fried green tomatoes?). The Tabernacle is cozy and accoustically phenomenal, and proved to be an intimate setting. The 'Shine on You Crazy Diamond' snippet intro was perfect for the sultry unveiling of the classic and very JA stage props. Coupled with a tightly grouped, almost melancholic 'Jane Says' topped only an incindiary 'Stop' that capped the set perfectly. They have very obviously mastered the live performance of the new record and managed to weave them seamlessly into the set. Perry Ferrel's range seems to have only improved and Dave Navaro's fingers were like lightning bolts up and down the frets. They all seemed jovial and more than happy to be back on tour, perhaps with an even greater appreciation of their band, their fans and dare I say, life itself. Thanks guys!!! Come back to Atlanta soon. Chuck at cdmusser2@gmail.com.
