Zaterdag 23 juni gaat het weer gebeuren: de vijfde editie van Kids ‘n’ Billies, het leukste Rock ‘n’ Roll festival voor de hele familie!

Kids ‘n’ Billies is een uniek festival dat zowel muzikaal als qua entourage in het teken staat van authentieke roots-muziek uit de jaren ‘50 en ‘60 van de vorige eeuw. Rockabilly, rock ‘n’ roll en surf spelen een belangrijke rol, maar ook suikerspinnen, kuiven, hoela-hoeps, motoren en een ouderwetse zweefmolen horen erbij.

Voor de kinderen is het een geweldig dagje uit en een unieke gelegenheid om kennis te maken met de rock ‘n’ roll-cultuur uit die tijd. Het hele festivalterrein is een halve eeuw teruggetoverd d.m.v. tal van activiteiten en attracties. En dat alles voor prijzen van vijftig jaar geleden. Met een stel dubbeltjes op zak, voelt een kind zich de koning te rijk.

Het unieke aan Kids ‘n’ Billies is, dat we voor alle generaties een programma bieden dat volledig met elkaar is verweven. Geen apart kinderhoekje dus, maar een serieuze en vermakelijke reis door de tijd die gezamenlijk wordt beleefd. Maar ook als je geen kinderen hebt, is Kids ‘n’ Billies een festival dat je niet mag missen!
