andytabelz @bosc you probably should've done your research and known what AC was like as a live band. and the new material was AWESOME, and very little of it was noodling, they just like to transition. i got my money's worth

Bosc @yeyomonster: i love AC but they just have no stage presence. They barely spoke to us, they played almost all new material that no one was familiar with, and there was way too much filler with them just noodling between songs. using your logic you'd be fine if the ticket price was $500 because you're a "true" AC fan. seriously dude stfu. I've been to concerts that blew that one out of the water for less than $15.

misterwallaby This show was fantastic, except for how short it was. I was told by people that they were terrible live, but I still drove 6 hours to see these boys. Pensacola to Atlanta. I'd say it was almost worth it. The price wasn't the big issue for me, it was more of what I expected out of them ,and what I got. I'd see em again if they came down here, but i wouldn't be as excited as i was.

yeyomonster 5 for 5. wished for penny dreadfuls but got taste and mad new shit that they balanced between the four perfectly. got to meet Bradford too! great show. fuck that, bosc. you shouldnt give a fuck about price if youre a real anco fan judging the show. the price is the price. deal. and we all know they wont be announced around the southeast again for a good while

this show blew. what a ripoff :( $46 ticket plus around $100 in gas (i'm from pensacola, FL) for a show that was worth $10 at best. when it ended I seriously thought it was an intermission and they were just getting started. sooo disappointed! Atlas Sound lived up to my expectations though, Cox was great!

thatjacob I'd say I was disappointed, but it's exactly what I expected out of live AC. Aside from the lights, they're terrible live performers. I'm especially bothered by the fact that nearly all of Panda Bear's backing vocals were part of the backing track or loop. I understand the necessity of not having everything be completely live within their genre, but there were a few things that crossed that line into just laziness. All of that being said, I think the new material will be good recorded and I'll probably enjoy the album.
