This coming April 17th, come celebrate with us the warm(er) weather with a night out in the Po-Town! Buy tickets here for $35
ViCE's biggest event ever will feature the acclaimed band 'The Flaming Lips', plus a few special guests to be announced. This will be all about bringing you and your friends to and around the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in downtown Poughkeepsie. There will be activities before and after the event, and shuttles departing from Vassar College starting at 5pm.
The Flaming Lips began recording psychedelic rock in 1986 with their debut album Hear It Is, but since then they have delved into pop, ambient and alternative rock. Their most recent and well-known work has been self-described as “space rock,” due to its lyrical and instrumental science-fiction undertones; this unique sound is particularly evident in their three highly celebrated albums Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, At War With the Mystics and Embryonic.
