Faith No More’s 1st Melbourne Soundwave Sideshow sold out in less than 3 minutes.

With Soundwave in Melbourne also having sold out, the band set out to find another show to help appease their legion of ticketless and frustrated fans; and finally found an opportunity to do so by joining forces with fellow headliners AFI to form what will be the «GREATEST SOUNDWAVE SIDESHOW OF ALL TIME».

After a string of groundbreaking albums AFI have cultivated one of the most passionate followings on the planet.

It was in 2003 that the band catapulted into arena status off the back of ‘Sing The Sorrow’, acclaimed as a genuine masterpiece by fans and critics alike… «Sing The Sorrow soars with the kind of melodies hit singles are made of, yet it somehow persists with AFI’s esoteric darkness.» – Alternative Press

AFI followed up their smash 2006 effort, ‘Decemberunderground’, with the propulsive blast of 2009’s ‘Crash Love’; and «it’s packed with as much exuberance, mystery and drama one can handle» - Alternative Press.

But it’s live where AFI come into their own and to see them is to understand that unique internal chemistry and the undeniable bond between band and audience. Spin Magazine named them one of the 25 greatest live acts of all time and «the band still rage like their life depends on it, leaping off the ground, hammering out their dusky glory with a passion.» – Terrorizer Magazine

Apocalyptic punks, Gallows, will be joining AFI and will bring a genuine slab of working class anarchy to the show combined with pure rock brutalism and punk rock fuelled venom. For fans that held on to their Gallows tickets from their previously postponed September tour your tickets are valid for both sideshows!

    LOL!!! were they volleys?? XD oh well ill happily pay $20 too loose them in the pit again lol. soo excited for soundwave right now!!!! guna loose some more shoes!!!!!!

    turned up in the middle of neil hamburgers jokes lol his such a douche and missed out on AFI and gallows (thank god) but yeah faith no more were amazing. lost my shoes in the pit hahahha
